Perry Park Runway, Colorado, June 1990.
This photo is looking north. It was taken in June, 1990. The runway was established in the 1980s. As of 2015, the 1,000 feet at the south end is concrete and the remaining runway is gravel. The runway is located between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs, parallels Interstate 25, and runs along the west side of the highway. The length is 5,700 and it is 75 feet wide. Because it is a private airstrip, permission is required prior to landing.

Winds normally prevail from the northwest, meaning that with northerly winds, planes would take off and land from the paved south end, reducing the chance of rock strikes on the propeller and providing a hard surface when the runway is wet. There are no taxiways, so, to reposition, planes must back-taxi on the runway.

The closest town is Larkspur, one mile south of the runway. There are no services at the site.
