When Robert C. Hupp formed the Hupp Motor Car Corporation in 1908 he brought a great deal of experience to the new
automobile company, having previously worked with Ford, Olds, and Regal. The company's first model was this sporty
little two-seat runabout.
The car held great appeal for Frederick C. Crawford who established this museum collection. In 1909 it was this model
that first sparked his interest in automobiles as something more than transportation. This car was one of the first to
be displayed at the Thompson Auto Album and is now part of the Crawford collection.
