Pierce-Arrow offered luxury, style, and sophistication to those who insisted on the finer things in life. But while
luxury built the company, luxury also killed the company. The Great Depression decreased the demand for cars like this
one, and countless car manufacturers could not survive the economic downturn.
This automobile was once one of the most photographed. It was used in the Hiram Walker liquor
advertisements.
