The 1955 series was a major redesign using the 1951 dies by stylist Richard Teague. Some of the changes included:

Wrap-around front windshield
Grill
Interior
Dash
Torsion Level Suspension (standard for Senior models and optional for Clippers)
New V-8 Engine
This car was Packard’s attempt to regain some of the luxury market from Cadillac, but it was too little, too late to turn the company around.
