Late in 1898, Louis Renault turned his De Dion Bouton three-wheeled quadricycle into a four-wheeled motorcar in his
workshop in France. He built the chassis and the body was built in the U.S.A. by Quimby.
It is believed that this is the only Renault Opera Coupe in existence.
