The Steyr chassis was manufactured in Austria by the Steyr Company, and the body was built by Sphon. It is nearly an
exact copy of the 540K Mercedes. The Steyr Company was associated with Daimler-Benz at one time, and Dr. Porsche, who
was worked for Daimler at the time, did much of the Steyr design. The engine is an overhead valve, six-cylinder type
with twin carburetors and twin exhausts. All four wheels are individually sprung.
The Forney Museum accession number is 90.
