This is a 1923 Case Steam Traction Engine.
This tractor model is 65, so named for it 65 horsepower engine that features a 10-inch bore and an 11-inch stroke.
The flywheel turns at 250 rpm. The top speed is 2.4 miles per hour. The engine can burn coal, wood, or straw. It can
burn oil with some modification.
This tractor could pull Case's largest thresher, a 6 to 8 bottom plow, a heavy road grader, or a road
roller.
The J.I. Case Co. of Racine, Wisconsin, began in 1842.
