The new Phantom III was introduced in the fall of 1935. The Phantom III was a very substantial break from Rolls Royce
tradition. It was equipped with a brand new V-12 engine which produced 180 hp at 3000 rpm.
By having a brand new general motors-type independent front suspension, the Phantom III became a superb riding and
handling car, altogether smoother than the Phantom II and with enhanced performance. The Phantom III could maintain
80 mph with continuous reliability.
At the time these photos were taken, the price was $150,000.
