This 1939 Chrysler Royal Sedan belonged to the father of TV talk show host Johnny Carson. It is the car in which Johnny
learned to drive.
This was the car in which Johnny drove his date to their senior prom in Nebraska. Years later, after fame and fortune,
he tracked down his father's old Chrysler, bought it, and had it restored. In July 1994, he sold this car to the Imperial
Palace Hotel and Casino Auto Collection for $1.00.
At the time these photos were taken, the car was not for sale.
