In 1948 this car was delivered to John Mills, the famous actor and father of Hayley Mills. The Silver Wraith was the
first model to be produced after World War II with the Rolls Royce radiator.
The Silver Wraith was in production for
fourteen years, carrying on for four years after the introduction of the Silver Cloud in 1958. When production of the
Phantom V began in 1962, Silver Wraith production was halted.
Many devotees of the marquee consider the stately Silver Wraith as being the last real Rolls Royce.
The price at the time of these photos were taken was $375,000.
