This car has been the subject of a complete ground-up nut-and-bolt restoration to the most exact standards that took
nearly five years to complete. The car was restored starting the late 1980's though 1993. It has all of its tools,
a jack, and the driver's handbook.
Upon completion, the vehicle went on to win first in class in 1996 at the AMOC
Concours d'Elegance. This was followed up by a first in the elite class at Silverstone in 1997 and another elite
class win at Cornbury Park in 1997 Autumn Concours d'Elegance.
This was the first Aston Martin production car with
front disc brakes as standard issue. The vehicle has never seen a wet road since the restoration was complete. With
its stainless steel exhaust, Boranni wire wheels, coupled with its beautiful green exterior color and green leather
upholstery it is without a doubt, the finest DB2/4 Mk III Saloon in existence.
The price at the time this photo was taken was $325,000.
