The great author, Clive Cussler, has written many books that feature the main character, Dirk Pitt, who shares his first
name with Clive's real son, Dirk Cussler. Clive and Dirk enjoy collecting rare automobiles and restoring them. Clive's
car collection is on display in his museum (see web page noted above). In some of his books, one of the actual cars
in Clive's collection is driven by the fictional hero, Dirk.
