The 1908 Model S Ford was produced by the Ford Motor Company along with Models K, N, and R until the advent of Model T production which began in October 1908. This Model S has and 85 inch wheelbase, wooden wheels, and a four-cylinder engine. The windshield was an option, but it was sold with headlights. The tire size is 30 x 3 1/2 inches.

This is a two-person roadster, and often a "mother-in-law" seat was added behind. The car originally sold for $700. IT has a planetary transmission, 2 forward speeds, and one reverse. This car features floor lever shift controls, a disc clutch, and a shaft drive. The cylinders are in-line and it has mechanical lifters and a Holley carburetor.

There is some dispute as to whether the K, N, R, and S models were produced in numbers of 6,015 or 10,202. Many of the later cars may have been Model T cars.
