Production of the Model T began in October 1908 and continued until 1927. This 1910 touring model is in "as found"
condition. The model T was an entirely different design from previous Ford models.
The four-cylinder engine was cast en-bloc (all cylinders in a single casting). Ford began using Vanadium steel alloy
parts that were lighter and stronger than basic steel.
The 22 horsepower engine was cooled by thermo-syphon action as were all of the following Model T’s. It has 30 x 3 inch
front tires and 30 x 3 1/2 inch rear tires. This example is a four-seat model with doors in the rear. It has both oil
and carbide lights. The original price was $950.
