This car was in an accident in 1916 that crushed the radiator, crunched the right front fender, and bent the front axle. After the accident, it was stored in a barn from 1916 until it was auctioned off in 2006.

This car is unique in that it has a two-stroke engine. It is in original condition. The Elmore Manufacturing Company was started on a parcel of land called Elmore in Clyde, Ohio. James and Burton Becker started a bicycle business, but by 1902 they were manufacturing automobiles. In 1906 the cars had the engine mounted in front. This car has a 108 inch wheelbase and 33 x 4 inch tires.

When William C. Durant started General Motors, he purchased the Elmore company. By 1912 the car was out of production.
