Abraham Ritchie

Biographical Sketch of Abraham Ritchie, 1838-1930

Abraham Ritchie and his wife raised their two sons, Andy and Jacob Lee, in Missouri. The dates of Abraham’s birth and death are extrapolated from the facts that he died shortly after his great granddaughters, Harriet Elizabeth (Ritchie) Bell and Leoda (Ritchie) Klindt, moved to Denver, Colorado in 1927 and that he lived to be 92 years of age.

Assuming he died in 1930, he would have been born in 1838.

His youngest son, Jacob Lee, was born June 21, 1864, and his oldest son, Andy, was born in 1862. His granddaughter, Harriet Elizabeth (Ritchie) Bell was the mother of Norma and Ruby Fay Bell.
