The Schnell farm is a square area slightly above and left of center in the picture. Wadsworth Boulevard is the main highway that runs
north and south at the right. The access road to the Schnell Farm is the diagonal dirt road that runs along the trees from a street
address of 3113 S. Wadsworth Boulevard to the clump of trees in the center of the photo at the Schnell Farm.

In this closer Satellite photo, the Schnell Farm shows up as a lighter green area slightly left of center. The barn shows up at the
lower left of the light green area. At the lower right is the diagonal dirt road that runs from the clump of trees toward Wadsworth
Boulevard.

This 1896 photo shows the Schnell family with the mother, Sarah Schnell, and her daughters, Leslie, right and Isabella, left. The father
is Fred C. Schnell. A spring flows behind the girls, and it was still flowing in 1997. In the background is a 2-story barn, and behind
it is a grainery. The barn can be seen in the satellite photos, above.

In this picture, the creek bed is in the center of the picture and the access road can be seen to the left.
The Schnell Farm is very private, and access is limited. The photos were taken from the perimeter of the property.
One of the few ways to get onto the property to view this historic site is by
joining a tour given by The Lakewood Historical Society. As of 2014, the Schnell family was requesting a donation of $5 per person
to help them maintain the farm, one of the last operating farms in Lakewood.
