Shown first is the code found on the lens, followed by the Greek or Roman name for the number of
elements, and finally, the number of elements, in English.
Nikkor-U (Unis): one element
Nikkor-B (Bini): two elements
Nikkor-T (Tres): three elements
Nikkor-Q (Quattuor): four elements
Nikkor-P (Pente): five elements
Nikkor-H (Hex): six elements
Nikkor-S (Septem): seven elements
