Chronoswiss

Chronoswiss, a German company, was started by Gerd-R. Lang in the early 1980s when established European companies were downsizing due to the introduction of the inexpensive quartz watch.

Lang realized that this change indicated the end of mechanical watches for the masses. He began manufacturing high-quality, classically-styled, mechanical watches including chronographs, chronometers, sports watches, and a reversing rectangular watch resembling the Jaeger-Le Coultre Reverso. Chronoswiss's Cabrio has an unusual display back. All Chronoswiss watches use Swiss movements.
