Alfred Brodman, Flemming Bo Hansen, and Gunter Wermekes influenced contemporary notions about watch design. Bo Hansen's "Watch" is in the permanent
design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The Ventura collection has been shaped by Zurich-based designer Hannes Wettstein. Ventura watches use expensive movements and nitrogen-hardened
titanium.
The Futura model features a quartz movement with rotor-driven generator, an 8-year power reserve and black with light-colored LCD display. Other models are the
v-tronic, and the v-matic. The v-matic Chronograph features a mechanical movement with automatic winding that is shock-proof and antimagnetic in a
nitrogen-hardened titanium case that is water-resistant to 20 atm, with an easy-to-read black dial with tritium-coated dot and bar markers and
hands.
